Slippery Slope

I’m learning a lot about myself on this weight loss plan!
Turns out, I really like rules and regulations! It’s easy to say “no” to just about anything if it’s against the rules. And now that the detox is officially over, I’m finding it very easy to say “yes” to more and more of the foods and drinks that got me here in the first place!
The good news is I have developed great eating habits throughout this whole process. I have fallen completely in love with vegetables! They are interesting, colorful, tasty, and versatile. They make up about 60% of my daily diet. Fruits come in second place – about 25% of my daily calorie quota. The last 15% comes from protein, legumes and nuts.
Eating a healthy, nutrient packed diet gives me plenty of energy to get through my daily workouts and work schedule. You’ve got to give this a try if you’re feeling puffy and sluggish.
I have lost a total of 14 lbs. and am only one pound away from my goal – and I still have four weeks until the big day!
Hmm…maybe a new set of rules is in order to keep me on track!
