A Must Do…

Detox – Week 3.  If you’ve never tried a detox, you don’t know what you’re missing out on!

When you are taking care of your body – eating healthy fruits and vegetables, good protein, nuts and seeds, drinking lots of water, and exercising everyday  –  you are going to feel great from morning to night.  And not just physically, but mentally as well.  You will feel happier.  You will feel rested.  You will feel FABULOUS!!

This is my last week of the detox/cleanse and I’m a little nervous for it to end.  I am cautiously going to add back some of the foods I have been avoiding.  It’s time to include dairy into my daily diet.  I will add 1% milk to the daily mix.  I will continue to avoid gluten, sugar, alcohol, caffeine, and artificial anything.

I lost 2 pounds this week.  So, to celebrate, I dared to go dress shopping for the wedding!  I made the DOG go with me to be my fashion consultant.  He was a champion shopper!  No complaining, no heavy sighing, no disappearing.  He endured my day- long fashion show and gave his honest opinion – ouch!  He even took pictures to send to our daughter for a third opinion.

One lucky dress made the cut and I brought it home to show the bride to get her approval.  I hope she does…
