Losing It!

Detox – Week Two… I’m actually enjoying all the vegetables and fruit I’m eating! And this week I got to add high quality protein to the mix. I went crazy for seafood, which is odd because fish is usually my last choice for an entrée.
But, I couldn’t get enough salmon, Ahi tuna, and tilapia. I even ordered Mahi Mahi at a local Mexican food restaurant!
The detox is paying off, though. I lost 4 pounds this week. Yep…four pounds! That’s a first!!! And I feel great. I have plenty of energy to get up and go for my runs. I don’t drag in the middle of the day. My undereye circles are diminishing and my nails are stronger.
I’ve decided to add body sculpting to my workout routine. It suddenly occurred to me that I may be wearing a sleeveless dress to the wedding and my arms need some serious work. And as a bonus, I will be burning even more calories!
